What is a digital shopping card?
A digital shopping card is an electronic or digital gift card that can be used online or at brick-and-mortar locations.
Can I share digital shopping cards with friends and family?
Yes. You can take a snapshot of the image of the gift card code and share it by email, text, or print.
What is cashback?
Cashback is a rewards incentive offered by merchants that offer digital shopping card cards in the app. The amount of cashback is dependent on what each merchant is willing to offer.
Why is there a difference between what I earn in cashback rewards and what’s available in my Current Reward Balance?
In your Reward Settings, you designate a percentage to share with your nonprofit. Your cashback rewards are divided between you and your designated nonprofit automatically after each purchase and your cashback is made available to you for your next purchase. Example: If you earn $10 in cashback rewards from a merchant and select 50% of your rewards to go to your charity, then $5 would appear in your wallet and be ready to use for your next purchase. PayGiv will convert the selected percentage reward ($5) and make a donation to your designated nonprofit.
Can I make individual donations to my charity?
Yes. One-time or recurring donations can be made to your chosen charity or any others that are part of the PayGiv network of participating charities by clicking the “Donate” icon in the navigation bar.
Are Donations Tax-Deductible?
Yes. One-time or recurring donations are tax deductible. Donations made through cashback rewards are not. You will have access to reporting showing any donations that are made throughout the year. We suggest for any further information you seek advice from your tax advisor.
When will my charity receive my donated cash-back rewards?
PayGiv processes and delivers donations to the chosen charity within 15 days of the close of the previous month's collections.
What is an e-wallet?
Once you purchase a digital shopping card by selecting “Buy Now”; your card will be stored in your PayGiv Wallet (located in the navigation bar). Your Wallet shows all the digital shopping cards you have purchased, the original purchase amount of the card, and the shopping Gift card options.
How do I check my digital shopping card balance?
Balances are generally available on the gift card merchant's website or by calling their customer service number. You can also check your digital shopping card balance at the point of sale or when you enter your Gift card code number at checkout.
How to update my digital shopping card balance?
On each digital shopping card you purchase you have the option of manually updating your balance as you spend by selecting the “Update Balance” button within your wallet. However, the history of how and when a purchase is made is only accessible through the merchant. We added the convenience so you can update and keep track of your balance at any time.
How to create a Favorite Brand?
When you frequently purchase digital shopping cards from a brand, or you want to favorite an eGift card. Tap on the digital shopping card brand, at the top of the screen you will see the "Add to favorites" button, tap the heart icon to favorite that brand. This saves the brand to the top of your list of merchants so it is easily accessed for convenient use. You can remove a favorite by tapping or clicking on the favorite button again.

It's easy! In your PayGiv Wallet, select "View card" for the card you want to use. Show the QR code or barcode at checkout for scanning. If scanning isn't possible, the merchant can manually enter the code on the card. For online purchases, enter the code and PIN (if applicable) at checkout.

This process may take as much as 30 days to complete, so please be patient.

If I am using ACH, why do you need my credit card?
